Lovely sunny conditions this Sunday, as the girls travelled away to Coalville in a U11 Platinum League fixture.
The game started off at a quick pace, with Coalville playing some tidy football. The tigresses pushed forward and created a few chances but didn’t get to test the keeper early on.
As Coalville continued to dominate early on, Dolcee in goal stood firm between the sticks keeping them at bay. With a few players missing to illness the team had to shuffle positions, most notably Eden and Brooke moving to Defence alongside Eloise.
The girls picked themselves up after a tricky 1st half with a fighting spirit. Some nice 1-2s from Ava, Eden and Ariella created some good opportunities.
Coalville continued to spring attacks but the girls managed to match them throughout the half. And we finished the game with our heads held high from the 2nd half performance.
Shout out to Dolcee who’s goal kicks where frightening, absolute rockets. Also brilliant composure playing out from the floor.
Parents player this week was Eloise. She had fire in her belly this week, making some crucial challenges.
Coaches Player of the week goes to Eden. A brilliant performance, giving everything she had for the team.
