The Lionesses took their recent unbeaten run in the league to 7 games following a tough encounter at home, against a determined Borough Alliance.
The Lionesses were behind at the break but had the chance to equalise with 15 minutes left when Ellie stepped up to convert from the spot for her first goal of the season. With three minutes to go, captain Georgie broke free to slot past the keeper and grab the winner to gain a valuable three points.
Both goalkeepers were in outstanding form and deserve a special mention. Georgie led by example throughout and was awarded the Brace Wealth Management Player of the Match trophy.
