Leicester City Ladies U13The Tigresses were up against Leicester City Ladies this week aiming to continue their unbeaten run in the Platinum league.
The pitch at Fullhurst didn’t make it easy for the girls to play their usual fast flowing football, but they were first on the scoresheet with Lillie slotting it home after a good run down the right and perfect cross from Bella. The second came in similar fashion when Bella’s cross found the foot of a Leicester Ladies player who put the ball in her own net. A goal was conceded against the run of play just before half time, after the ball couldn’t get cleared from the box in time.
Clearly the halftime team talk worked as the second half was a lot more one-sided, as the Tigresses found their form and added six more goals to the total. A hat trick for Bella, two for Lola and one for Emmie, resulting in a strong win.
