Epworth U11 Lionesses put in a fantastic performance against a very strong Croft side. The girls worked tirelessly, creating plenty of chances and showing great determination throughout the game.
Both teams played some excellent football, making it an exciting contest. Epworth’s only goal came from Tallulah, who finished brilliantly to get the Lionesses on the scoresheet.
Jess was named Player of the Match after delivering a superb assist from a corner, showcasing her quality. Parents’ Player of the Match Isla was outstanding in defense—she seemed to be everywhere, making crucial tackles and playing like three defenders at times.
The match ended with a moment that summed up the team’s spirit—three incredible goal-line blocks in the final seconds, proving how much the girls were willing to fight for each other.
