U13 Bears Kick Off the Season with a Thrilling Match! 
The U13 Bears faced Wigston Willow Comets in their first league game of the season, starting strong with impressive possession and fluid ball movement. Despite a few half-chances and some great saves from the Comets’ keeper, it was Priya who broke the deadlock with a fantastic strike to give the Bears a lead going into half-time. 
After the break, the Comets came out pressing and managed to equalise. However, Laila quickly responded, putting the Bears back in front. The game remained intense and back-and-forth, with both teams applying pressure and battling hard. The Comets equalised once again, but Olivia’s poacher’s instinct shone through as she slotted the Bears’ third goal into the bottom corner after a scramble in the box. 
In the closing minutes, the Comets found the net once more to level the score just before the final whistle. An incredible effort from both sides resulted in a well-deserved draw!
