**Match Day 2: U14 Lionesses vs. Coalville Town Ravens**
On a scorching afternoon, our U14 Lionesses hosted Coalville Town Ravens for their second match of the season. Before the game, both teams observed a minute of silence in memory of Riley Townsend from Coalville and Bhim Kohli of Braunstone Town, reflecting a touching show of respect.
The Lionesses came out strong, taking advantage of a slow start from the Ravens to score multiple early goals. Despite finding their rhythm and creating several chances, Coalville struggled to get past Anna, who made some brilliant saves in goal, leading to a 9-1 scoreline at halftime.
The second half told a different story. The Ravens gained momentum and scored three quick goals, while the Lionesses faced a challenging spell. As both teams found opportunities, the match opened up, resulting in a final score of 12-7.
