Epworth U9 Lionesses welcomed Rugby Panthers to Fulhurst after a late reversal of fixture and with only 7 players and no substitutes it was going to be a strong test for the team.
Epworth started strongly with Zienna involved in several good moves while Mia B won tackle after tackle at the back.
The Panthers team came back into the game in the second half with the Lionesses tiring, but some resolute defending holding firm for the Lionesses while Amelia J made some strong runs forwards on the wing.
POTM today was Zienna who had a brilliant game in central midfield.
