A cold morning KO away at Burbage, who the girls faced the week before. It turned out to be a brillant end to end game with both teams battling really well and showing a lot of heart and desire.
The girls started off strong in the first half, working hard and building up attacks from the back, They used the width well, with Ariella and Bella looking to attack and supply crosses. Ava in her new boots played some excellent through balls, that Martin Odegaard would have been proud of.
Eden up front didn’t stop battling and was a constant threat looking to get in behind the Burbage defence.
Second half the girls started slow, with Burbage looking the fresher team. They put us under some early pressure, but the defence displayed excellent awareness and composure, with Ciara and Alice at the heart of that.
Dolcee in goal communicated well and kicked the ball like a NFL quarterback. Allowing us to spring a few quick attacks.
The last 10min the girls showed a real fighting spirit and togetherness with plenty of attacks.
Really proud of them all and how well they continue to do playing up.
Next up… the platinum league. 
PPOTM – Alice, composed all game, her passing was really impressive. And never stopped battling.
MPOTM – Ciara, The Coventry Maldini. Mopping everything up yet again. Brave on the ball and battled for every 50/50.
