This was the girls 3rd opponent in the u11 gold league. Each game has brought various challenges, and this was no different.
Epworth struggled to play their normal football and get hold of the game. The away team looked pumped up for the match and gave as good as they got.
Once the girls settled, they played some nice football. Our wingers Bella and Ariella looked a constant threat and found themselves in some good spaces, testing the goalkeeper on various occasions.
Elin and Ava in the middle of the pitch battled extremely well. With Ava playing some lovely through balls.
It was a scrappy game, with both teams creating chances. All the girls continue to develop really well and are improving each week.
PPOTM went to Dolcee. Alert, fantastic communication and good distribution. Some crucial saves through the game. Her pre match decaf coffee did the job.
MPOTM goes to Ariella. She covered alot of ground, looking dangerous going forward and did her defensive duties for the team.
