After three narrow losses to GNG in league and cup matches this season, the Lionesses made the short journey knowing that it was going to take a real team effort to get anything out of the game.
It turned out to be a fast paced encounter, which saw two solid defences cancel each other out and settle for a 0-0 draw. Some draws can feel like a defeat but with recent history against us, this one felt like a win and sent players, parents and coaches home happy and proud.
