The Tigresses were up against Harborough Town this week in the County Cup semi final in their first match since the Christmas break.
The girls got off to a great start with a goal coming early on after Bella’s cross came off an opposing player and looped into the net. An interception from a Harborough goal kick by Orla led to our second, after she dribbled around a few players and slotted it home, making it 2-0 at half time.
A positive half time team talk led to another fast start after kickoff and the goals flowed with Bella, Willow and Orla adding to the total. The defence always dealing calmly with anything that came their way.
Willow added her second with a tap in header and then Lillie got on the scoresheet firing in two in quick succession. Bella rounded the match off with her second making the final score 9-0. Fantastic start to 2025 and a well deserved place in the County Cup final.
