Quarter final County cup action at Holmes Park for the Tigresses this week against an Anstey Nomads team who were unbeaten with an excellent defensive record.
The girls started strongly with goals from Bella, Orla and Lola (pen) in the first half. Four more goals followed in the second half from Bella, Emmie, Willow and Lillie (pen) to seal the convincing win and ensure our place in the hat for the next round.
When needed the defensive back four were strong against Anstey’s big and powerful centre forward, and Evanie was able to deal calmly with anything that came her way.
Missing a few players the whole team were excellent, playing some lovely football with any number of the girls deserving of player of the match.
