The start of an exciting new season, and our U14’s took a trip to Swadlincote to take on Albert Village U14’s.
After a shaky first 10 minutes in which the home team took the lead, our girls regrouped and started to impose their quality on the game, finishing the 1st half 2-1 up.
With the game closely poised, the girls had to up their game to another level in the second half. The defensive unit stayed strong under some initial pressure to allow our forwards to take advantage of the gaps left behind and grab a few more goals. Final result: 2-5
