After a week without a fixture Epworth forest U11 lionesses were against sporting rugby.
This fixture was played at Holmes park, thanks to our sponsors Leicester Steel Fabrication Ltd.
The opposition started the game on top, with the majority of the ball in the Epworth half. It was quite a scrappy and frantic first 15 mins, however the Epworth defence didn’t give anything away. After this Epworth started to get their foot on the ball and get on top in the game with a number of chances created.
The second half started as the first half finished, with Epworth again on top and creating numerous chances. Epworth kept moving the ball well and several moves were started by the superb composure of the player of the match Tallulah. Rugby had one big chance in the second half which Epworth were fortunate not to concede from.
