It was a 6 pointer for Bears in this clash between the top two sides.
Bears suffered a last minute blow as Mia was ruled out through illness. Mia has been solid at the back this season so it was a big loss.
However, the game started brightly for the Bears with Lacey going close early on, but their keeper just got her fingertips to the ball, forcing it wide. This proved to be the best chance of a very evenly matched game.
Both sides worked really hard and it was a competitive duel.
Zarah, back from injury, put in her usual tireless display in midfield with Khiah picking out some great passes too.
Debutant Thea came on midway through the first half and hit the ground running. A superb 1st appearance for her with some strong tackles and great runs made.
It was 0-0 at half time and the 2nd half continued in the same vein. Laila and Priya continued to press for a goal, but it was not to be.
It was clear to see both sides wanted the win but strong defending at both ends meant it remained 0-0.
There was a flurry of corners and throw ins to Glenfield but Bears stood firm, with a great defensive display and the points were shared.
