Proud to report on another great performance from our U8 Lionesses this week! 
In a home fixture against Ashby Ivanhoe, the team showed their resilience and skill despite the challenging weather conditions.
The morning started off nice and crisp, but the weather quickly turned rainy and cold. 
However, that didn’t stop our young lionesses from putting on an impressive display of teamwork and talent.
The game was closely contested, with both teams showcasing great football. 
Our very own Brooke had a standout attacking performance, setting up Ava and with a strike of her own 
But the player of the week award has to go to our goalkeeper, Florence. She put on an incredible display of shot-stopping, bravely facing the elements for the entire game. 
Her commitment and skill were truly inspiring.
It’s moments like these that make me proud to be a part of this team. The Lionesses continue to impress with their determination, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
