An early start for the Bears this morning as they took on Loughborough Foxes Royals in a rescheduled cup fixture. It was a thrilling match for the neutrals, showcasing excellent football and fierce battles across the pitch.
Loughborough struck first, quickly doubling their lead. This ignited a spirited response from the Bears, with Priya netting two well-taken goals to level the score. Despite creating several close chances, the Bears couldn’t capitalize further. In their push for victory, the game opened up, allowing quick turnovers from Loughborough, who regained the lead and closed out the match with a 5-2 win.
A special mention goes to Bella, who made an impressive debut start in defense. The girls showed tremendous effort, fighting until the final whistle. Player of the Match was awarded to Zarah for her commanding performance in midfield.
