Exciting day at Ashby Ivanhoe for the U8 Lionesses first game in their new home kit, thanks to the sponsor Page Plumbing, and what a muddy challenge it was! 
We faced a barrage of shots in the first quarter but managed to head into the first break with a lead. It was truly a fantastic team effort, and though we didn’t secure the result we wanted, we couldn’t be prouder of our performance.
A special shoutout to our Player of the Week, Evelyn! Her positioning was spot on, her passing was impeccable, and her communication on the field was a joy to witness. Keep up the great work, team!
