What a fantastic start to the day! The Bears traveled to face the Loughborough Foxes in a sunny early kickoff, showcasing their skills on the pitch.
The Bears opened the match strong, maintaining possession and effectively moving the ball, which kept the Foxes largely confined to their own half. Despite several near misses and solid saves from the Foxes’ goalkeeper, the Bears broke the deadlock when Ellie intercepted a pass and quickly set up Jasmine. With her quick feet, Jasmine surged forward from defense, skillfully holding off challenges to score a remarkable goal from her solo run.
This goal allowed the Bears to head into halftime with a well-deserved lead. The team was reminded of last week’s game, where a strong start had faltered, and they remained focused on maintaining their momentum.
